Client Engagement Adviser

Sanlam Rand West City, Gauteng, South Africa

We are seeking a Client Engagement Adviser to join the Santam Client Solutions team located at our offices in Tygervalley, Cape Town. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

What will you do?

The Client Engagement Adviser will provide world‑class products and services to clients while achieving targets related to quality, productivity and client satisfaction in a call‑center environment.

What will make you successful in the role?
  • Accurately capture client information on the relevant system.
  • Execute client requests within the agreed time frames, quality standards and legislation.
  • Handle all administrative tasks according to agreed standards and turnaround times.
  • Engage with clients in a client‑centric manner.
  • Ensure accurate completion of client requests and follow up to resolve queries in a timely manner, as per service level agreements.
  • Provide effective, efficient, and professional service to all clients and offices, both telephonically and through written correspondence.
  • Meet and exceed client service level agreements.
  • Demonstrate excellent time‑management skills.
  • Consistently achieve agreed productivity targets.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • NQF Level 4 Qualification in Short‑Term Insurance.
  • Regulatory Exam (RE 5) advantageous.
  • 5‑7 years of experience in customer service (preferably within short‑term insurance).
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks.

Specific Requirements

There will be a probationary period of three (3) months, comprising two phases:

  • A six‑week training period during which your knowledge will be assessed.
  • An on‑the‑job evaluation phase where progress will be measured against agreed targets.
