Description:
Hire Resolve’s client, a leading construction company in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects in the Eastern Cape region. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of junior quantity surveyors. If you are a driven and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the construction industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Preparing Tenders and QuotesContracts ManagementMonthly Valuations and ClaimsMeasuring and quantity take-offsTimely Payments to StakeholdersPrepare budgets.Bills of quantitiesSubcontractor Appointments and PaymentsPayment certificatesCost reportsFinal accountsProject Cost Control and MonitoringSite instruction documentation and controlRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a senior roleExperience in the construction industry, preferably in the Eastern Cape regionStrong knowledge of cost management and quantity surveying principlesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in relevant software and toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentMust be willing to relocate to the Eastern Cape.Benefits:
