Stock Controller

Overview

The purpose of this role is to monitor all inventory movement transactions and monitor the inventory accuracy (physical vs. recorded/system), as well as investigate variances, and advise on post gains and losses in the system.

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma/Degree in Inventory management or warehousing, Supply Chain (Advantageous)

• 3 years demonstrated experience as a Stock Controller
• Proven experience in an Administration role

Data capturing

• Adequate capturing of inventory and shipping data on the system

Managing Purchase orders

• Effective capturing of requisitions and purchasing orders for suppliers on AX

Cycle counts

• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts
• Ensure physical stock matches stock on the system

Monthly reports (Stock write offs, stock aging reports, stock movement reports)

Compliance

• Monitor compliance to stock control processes, system and procedures
• Liaising with relevant stakeholders with regards to issues pertaining to status of inventory
