The Key Account Manager:
Informal is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships with key informal markets. The role is required to drive sales, enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring seamless service delivery across assigned channels while executing tailored strategies, optimize revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, insurance loss replacement partners, informal market stakeholders, and banner groups. - Sales and Revenue Growth:
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned channels. - Operational Excellence:
Work closely with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and service delivery. - Market Intelligence and Insights:
Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and brand positioning strategies tailored to key accounts. - Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account interactions, and revenue performance.
- Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma in a Business Administration/ Sales/ Marketing related qualification. - Experience:
6+ years’ experience in a key account management/ corporate sales/ / business development role preferable within a informal market sector. - Competencies and
Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis for performance tracking.
