- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
- Assist with internal and external audits and provide audit documentation.
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management.
- Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Professional qualification (SAICA, SAIPA).
- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Afrikaans and English.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting and MS Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ethical standards and confidentiality.
