INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting subjects, however a BCom qualification is preferred.
- 3 years of previous experience in an accounting environment.
- Experience in Pastel and Excel.
- Experience in debtor and creditor processing.
- Processing of sales invoices in Pastel Evolution;
- Weekly reconciliation and sending of debtor statements;
- Following up on outstanding funds;
- Management of debtor insurance (applying for limits, reporting monthly balances);
- Clearing of incoming foreign currency payments;
- Processing of supplier invoicing (checking costs against budgets);
- Supplier reconciliation and clearing query items.
- Self-motivated, energetic and proactive disposition to achieve objectives within deadlines.
