Security Officer - Access Screening

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Screen and verify identification, badges, and/or access credentials for employees, visitors, and drivers; coordinate with site contacts to validate access authorization;
Conduct security-related screening of inbound and outbound items, packages, and/or equipment as required by post orders; document exceptions and escalate concerns per policy;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; complete reports and communicate observations to the appropriate parties;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
