Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in South Windsor, CT, for a Loan Officer Assistant. The role involves supporting Loan Officers by managing loan applications, gathering and reviewing required documentation, and assisting with customer inquiries. Daily responsibilities include coordinating communication between team members, borrowers, and underwriters, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless loan process for customers.
Exceptional organizational and customer service skills are critical in this role, as the assistant serves as a vital support to enhance efficiency in the mortgage loan process.
- Working knowledge of loan processes, experience with Loan Officers, and familiarity with the mortgage industry
- Understanding of underwriting processes and procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills to support clients and the team effectively
- Ability to maintain attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and meet deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in technology and relevant software systems used for mortgage processing
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
