Youth Activity Worker – 8 hours per week

£26,403 per annum pro rata (£13.68 per hour)

South Tyneside Council’s Youth Service is recruiting a motivated, qualified and experienced individual to deliver a range of informal positive activities as part of the Youth Offer. Activities may include open‑access youth projects, youth participation provision, targeted youth support, detached and outreach youth work, sport and leisure‑based activities, cultural and drama activities, residential trips, holiday programmes, volunteering, social action programmes and many more.

• Operate flexibly and responsively to meet the needs and demands of young people in South Tyneside, including evening, weekend and school holiday working.
• Assist in the delivery of the Youth Service’s key priorities and become an integral part of the team.
