Position: Quality Inspector (Temporary)
Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking to join a well‑established organisation that prides itself on precision, reliability, and long‑term staff development? We’re supporting a highly respected engineering employer in the North East who is seeking a detail‑driven Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Carrying out detailed inspection of components using a range of manual and digital measurement tools

* Operating and programming CNC CMM equipment to complete accurate dimensional inspections

* Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

* Ensuring products meet strict quality standards before release

* Accurately recording inspection results and highlighting any non‑conformances

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function

* Working closely with production teams to maintain consistent quality throughout the process

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance role within an engineering/manufacturing environment

* Hands‑on experience with CNC CMM operation and inspection

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence

* Strong understanding of measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, verniers, gauges)

* High level of attention to detail and problem‑solving ability

* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
