AboutThe Role
As a Development & Skills Coach, you’ll support learners across our campuses, helping them build confidence, strengthen essential life skills, and progress into further study, apprenticeships or employment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Personal Development, work readiness, and enrichment sessions
- Manage a caseload of learners, supporting attendance, engagement and progression
- Facilitate community projects, employer links, and wider enrichment activities
- Support students with UCAS guidance, references and employability pathways
- Monitor and track student engagement, including those identified as ‘At Risk’
- Develop fresh, relevant, and motivating resources to inspire learners
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Experience delivering Personal Development, employability or enrichment programmes
- Ability to motivate and support young people from diverse backgrounds
- A positive, proactive and student‑centred approach
- Level 2 English & Maths (or willingness to work towards)
- Teaching/training qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
- Half‑day Fridays – start your weekend earlier!
