Overview
Business Administration Apprentice – Level 3, 37 hpw (Term Time only)

£8.22 per hour (1st year only and then age related)
18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Required as soon as possible
Work pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 4.15pm, Friday 8:15am to 3:45pm (lunch 30 minutes)
Visits to the school are encouraged by telephone appointment on with Mrs Scott
Responsibilities- deal with telephone queries efficiently and effectively;
- welcome students and visitors, ensuring all visitors are signed in and monitored in accordance with school safeguarding procedures;
- provide general administrative support including typing, updating records, photocopying, scanning, sorting, and delivering post and postage;
- deal with internal and external post, and telephone queries from other organisations;
- complete regular stock taking of stationery;
- Use and maintain the school MIS system.
- undertake any other administration tasks required by the Head Teacher or Administration team.
- Work to deadlines and be proactive.
- Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE qualifications grade A
* to C (or 4 to
9). - ECHP:
For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and Maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
The apprentice will undertake training, and receive the qualification, for a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. In order to achieve this the candidate will be expected to complete coursework and attend lessons to progress through the apprenticeship.
