Pastoral Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for a Pastoral-focused Teaching Assistant to support pupils who benefit from emotional guidance, structure, and encouragement throughout the school day.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys being a trusted adult in a pupil’s school life.

• Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
• Providing reassurance and guidance
• Working closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
• Building positive relationships

• Experience in pastoral, youth work, or education settings
• A calm, empathetic approach
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Consistency and patience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
