Location: South Shields
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are recruiting a Trainee Learning Support Assistant to support pupils who need additional help accessing learning.

This role is ideal for someone with no formal qualifications who has supported children through voluntary or community-based roles.

You will gain experience supporting learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Assisting with learning tasks
• Providing encouragement and reassurance
• Supporting routines and transitions
• Working closely with teaching staff

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has voluntary experience with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
