Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We’re working with a fantastic specialist setting in South Tyneside supporting pupils aged 3–16 with a wide range of additional needs. They’re looking for a skilled, confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant who can bring both structure and heart to the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting learning in the classroom, including small groups and 1:1 interventions

• Helping deliver targeted academic and personal development activities

• Acting as a key adult—building strong, trusted relationships with pupils

• Supporting behaviour using a consistent, pupil-centred approach

• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to secure positive outcomes

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent experience

• Has experience in a specialist or mainstream setting with SEN pupils

• Brings a calm, confident, and proactive approach to every situation

• Is passionate about inclusion and committed to every pupil’s progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
