- Annual Base Salary of Circa £29k per annum. Negotiable DOE
- Head office location South Shields, Hybrid working!
- Immediate start
- HYBRID working, estimation of a 50-50 split between office and home.
- Permanent position from day one
- Monday to Friday working hours, 9am-5pm. The charity would consider 4 days for the right person.

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded domestic abuse charity dedicated to providing immediate support, long-term recovery services, and preventative education across South Tyneside and the wider North East. They are at a critical juncture of planned growth and service development, requiring a hands‑on, execution-focused administrator to translate their strategic vision into operational reality
THE ROLE- Support the CEO and Board of Trustees with governance administration.
- Work with CEO and external communications support team to produce our quarterly newsletter.
- Lead employment checks, onboarding/offboarding, and recruitment administration.
- Maintain accurate organisational records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- To arrange meetings and maintain diaries, including finding available dates from all attendees, arranging venues, book facilities/equipment and refreshments. This includes regular meetings as well as larger scale workshops and events.
- Taking telephone calls using company protocols and use initiative to resolve issues for callers.
- In the performance of the duties outlined in this job description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to clients, their families and their perpetrators, company staff and other stakeholders. They may also have access to information relating to the charity as a business organisation. All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential.
- Respecting the privacy, dignity, needs and beliefs of clients and colleagues.
- Communication and relationship building
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in executive-level administration support
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Driving licence would be essential for this role
- Experience with senior level administration and or HR processes.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
