Compensation: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist yard personnel in pulling and staging inter-company orders, loading trucks, and receiving materials.
- Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Expedite the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
- Receive and carry out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and job sites.
- Complete pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company trucks at job sites.
- Deliver material to job sites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to established safety guidelines.
- Must have a valid CDL driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interest in company-sponsored training.
- Goal of becoming a CDL driver and the ability to complete company-sponsored training while working as a material handler.
