* Our client is seeking a motivated  
** Organic Chemist
** to join our team. You'll support the development and optimization of surfactant synthesis and related molecular biology techniques to ensure high-quality product output.

** 6-month Contract (with potential for extension)

** Pay Rate:**  $28-$32/hr

** Late June or July (flexible for the right candidate)

* Schedule:

** Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (start time flexible)

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Perform organic synthesis (e.g., acyl chloride reactions, PEG addition, distillation) for surfactant production

+ Optimize R&D processes and troubleshoot synthesis workflows

+ Support molecular biology projects (PCR, gene cloning, DNA/RNA manipulation)

+ Operate analytical lab equipment (pH/conductivity meters, Qubit, Nano Drop, Bio Analyzer, GPC/SEC)

+ Maintain detailed lab records and collaborate across teams

** Requirements:*
* + BS/MS in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field

+ 1-2 years' lab experience (academic or industry)

+ Familiar with emulsion chemistry and PCR

+ Strong attention to detail, motivated, and self-directed

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite

+ Experience in GMP or regulated environments
