Pay Rate Low: 35 | Pay Rate High: 45

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Computational Scientist to join their Clinical Oncology team. This role partners closely with other teams to generate meaningful insights from patient-derived clinical and biomarker data, directly supporting oncology research and clinical development programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a computational biologist with strong oncology and
-omics expertise to work on impactful, data-driven cancer research in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with computational oncology and translational medicine scientists to analyze clinical and biomarker datasets
  • Develop and apply advanced analytical approaches to integrate multimodal data and test scientific hypotheses
  • Generate insights into disease biology and mechanisms of action to support clinical research and pipeline decisions
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and scientific publications
  • Document code, workflows, and analytical results thoroughly
Qualifications
  • 3–4 years of experience analyzing large-scale datasets, including bulk RNA-seq, WES, single-cell RNA-seq, ctDNA, and clinical or real-world data
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytical techniques such as multivariate statistics, multimodal data integration, and survival analysis (e.g., Kaplan–Meier)
  • Strong background in cancer biology and clinical omics data (real-world data experience a plus)
  • Master’s or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in R and shell scripting;
    Python experience a plus
  • Experience with Git and high-performance computing environments
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
