Postdoctoral Fellow - Antibody Engineering, Koerber Lab – Genentech

• Collaborate with researchers across departments, present your work to project teams, and contribute to scientific publications.
• Participate in the Antibody Engineering Department’s cutting‑edge protein engineering initiatives.
• Engage in Genentech’s post‑doctoral training program, which supports fundamental science questions in a drug‑development context.

• Ph.D. with a proven track record in structural biology, biological engineering, or protein engineering.
• Advanced at least one key research project, demonstrated by a first‑author paper published or accepted in a leading peer‑reviewed journal.
• Independent scientist with outstanding communication skills, a strong passion for protein engineering, and ability to work well in a team.

• Experience with molecular biology and protein manipulation.
• Track record of successfully conducting laboratory experiments.
• Working knowledge of biochemical techniques.

The expected salary range (South San Francisco, CA) is $98,000 to $104,500. Actual pay will be determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other permissible factors.
