Overview
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Assistant in South San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities- Design, set up, and execute high-throughput screening (HTS) experiments for reaction optimization, solubility, crystallinity, polymorph, and solid-form screening
- Operate and support robotic and automated laboratory platforms, liquid handlers, and integrated analytical systems
- Perform compound characterization using advanced analytical techniques, including XRPD, microscopy, UHPLC/HPLC, MS, and SFC
- Analyze, interpret, and document experimental data in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs)
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure data quality and reproducibility
- BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- 1–5 years of relevant pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical research experience
- Experience with laboratory automation and robotic systems
- Familiarity with air-free techniques and glovebox operations
- Working knowledge of chromatographic and analytical methods
