Production Supervisor

We are looking for a requisition clerk who is responsible for verifying requisition control and lot traceability practice in the storeroom.

• Assisting Production Manager with the planning and organization of the Food Department
• Performing Daily Briefings with employees
• Knowledge of cold food production processes
• Ensure food ready time is met daily for meal processing and packing
• Ensure no shortages occur and all special meals are produced to specification
• Ensure portions control is accurately measured and managed by supervisors and employees
• Preparing weekly schedules
• Assisting with all menu presentations and cycle changes
• Coaching and training of employees
• Supervision of employees in the Food Department
• Maintain high Standards of quality and service
• Problem solving any issues in the Food Department
• Following all GMP and HACCP protocols
• Making sure employees are working safely and in a safe environment
• Other duties may be assigned

• Knowledge of internal policies and procedures
• Competent to work independently within area of expertise
• Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Effectively gives and receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction, as needed.
• Must be able to function within a team environment.
• Candidate bilingual in Chinese or Spanish a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically in Excel, Word and email

This position has some supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a cold environment and this position will routinely use label machines and tablets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods and reach, lift and carry with hand/arm, push and pull up to.

This is a full-time nonexempt position. Flexibility on hours and weekends is required.
