Position SummaryThe Full Stack System Administrator (IT Engineer) will maintain the stability, security, and efficiency of Aspiranet’s IT environment. Responsibilities include managing telephony, hardware, software, servers, networks, help‑desk support, and IT assets while guaranteeing daily operational continuity. The role also focuses on system configuration, infrastructure upgrades, and enforcing cybersecurity measures essential to healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and maintain reliable IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, LAN/WAN networks, telephony, and end‑point systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform regular maintenance: patching, updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and log monitoring to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Deploy and configure hardware and software, automate routine administrative tasks, and support IT projects or upgrades as required.
- Provide multi‑tiered help‑desk and technical support—resolving user issues and escalating complex challenges.
- Ensure network and system security by enforcing access controls, monitoring vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Document network and system configurations, diagrams, policies, and procedures to support transparency and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with vendors, external consultants, and internal teams to implement technology solutions effectively.
- Conduct user training and support knowledge sharing on system operation, security best practices, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT operations.
- Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux environments; hands‑on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, and directory services.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools (Power Shell, Bash, Python).
- Hands‑on experience managing Microsoft 365 (Entra , Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Strong understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs) and experience with vendors such as Cato Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, and Sophos.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles: access control, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI security, and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare.
- Strong analytical and root‑cause analysis skills with a user‑centered approach.
- Team‑oriented, adaptable, and able to contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross‑functional teams and managing multiple priorities effectively.
