Network Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the biotech industry, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Information Technology department supporting the infrastructure and security teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Network Engineer

$75 per hour

• Design, configure, and maintain secure, high-availability network infrastructure across campus, lab, and data center environments.
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise networking equipment including Cisco switches, Meraki wireless, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Manage ISP connectivity, WAN circuits, VPNs, and remote access solutions to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to support AWS networking, including VPC architecture and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement and monitor network security controls, firewall policies, and conduct regular security testing and audits.

• Minimum of 5+ years supporting medium to large enterprise networks as a Network Engineer or Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switching, Meraki Wi‑Fi, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with AWS networking, including VPC design and Direct Connect.
• Degree in a relevant field (Bachelor's Degree preferred) and relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are advantageous.
