The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects that support scientific and operational needs
. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resources, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across research, regulatory, and business departments to drive project success.
- Lead multiple IT infrastructure and software projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with scientific, regulatory, and business teams to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support key business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and communication frameworks; ensure regular project documentation and reporting.
- Manage vendor relationships and subcontractors, overseeing deliverables and contract fulfillment.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; propose and implement contingency strategies when needed.
- Monitor budgets and resource utilization to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.
- Maintain compliance with relevant biopharma regulations (e.g., ICH, GLP, GCP) and company SOPs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT project communications to stakeholders and senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred for some roles.
- 3+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in biotech or life sciences environments.
- Proven knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP certification a plus).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in regulated biotech or pharmaceutical environments (FDA, GxP compliance) is highly desirable.
