Responsibilities- Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
- CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
- 12 Child Development units completed required:
Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices. If applying for an Infant or Toddler position, Infant and Toddler Development class is required as one of the curriculum courses - Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
- Transcripts will be required at time of hire
- AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
This position requires compliance with all applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance, to ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is between $25.75 and $31.45 per hour. Actual compensation offers will depend on factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant factors.
