Must have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, specifically within the biotechnology or biopharma sectors.
- Proven experience with product development for hardware, software, and single-use consumables. Familiarity with agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work efficiently within a cross-functional team environment.
- Understanding of customer workflows, as well as quality and regulatory standards.
- Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for the product portfolio to align with company objectives and market demands.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and engage in customer interviews to uncover new business opportunities.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from conception through to launch, collaborating with engineering and scientific teams to convert customer needs into technical requirements.
- Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies, addressing aspects such as pricing, positioning, and sales support.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to facilitate a successful product introduction and market acceptance.
- Act as the primary contact for all product-related questions, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and key opinion leaders.
- Monitor and evaluate key product metrics to assess success and pinpoint areas necessitating improvement.
- Employ data-driven insights to guide product decisions and enhance product effectiveness.
- Develop proactive strategies and plan product feature releases to reinforce the competitive positioning of the product line.
- Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports to leadership detailing product sales performance, market trends, key customers, and competitive landscape.

This position is onsite in South San Francisco, requiring in-person attendance 3-5 days a week. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary and great benefits, with an expected salary range of $175,000 to $200,000.
