Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Director of Trade, Channel, and Distribution to join IDEAYA’s Commercial team. The Senior Director, Trade, Channel, & Distribution will be responsible for developing and executing IDEAYA’s US trade, channel, and distribution strategy for the launch of darovasertib in metastatic uveal melanoma (mUM). This leader will ensure optimal product access and availability across our distribution and dispensing ecosystem, supporting a seamless and compliant patient and provider experience.

This individual will be a critical strategic partner to cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization. While this will initially be an individual contributor role, this position is expected to evolve into a team lead with direct reports as the IDEAYA portfolio of products grows over time.

This position is based in our South San Francisco headquarter offices and required to be onsite four days per week per our company policy.

Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a comprehensive trade, channel, and distribution strategy including the design and oversight of the darovasertib distribution network at launch and through its lifecycle
  • Serve as the key point of contact for the implementation, onboarding, process development, and systems integration of all channel distribution partners
  • Establish and maintain state licensing, ensure all distribution agreements adhere to Federal and state laws, and maintain consistent audit readiness
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure appropriate inventory levels, minimizing potential for product disruptions, shipment delays and manufacturing challenges
  • Develop trade and channel analytics to monitor inventory levels, product flow, and performance; proactively diagnose and enhance program performance following launch
