A detail‑oriented audit professional who understands how financial institutions operate and where risks emerge. You’re curious, independent, and comfortable asking direct questions while building trust across the business.
You Will- Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits aligned with internal audit standards and regulatory expectations.
- Assess internal controls, identify risks, and evaluate compliance with FDIC, BSA/AML, CRA, IRR/STMR, Reg W, and related regulations.
- Audit consumer and commercial lending, deposit operations, and other core banking functions.
- Review IT‑related controls and partner with technology teams to validate system integrity.
- Prepare clear audit documentation and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
- Support special investigations, issue validation, and ad‑hoc risk or control projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CIA, CPA, CISA, or CBA preferred.
- 5+ years of internal audit experience in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and audit methodologies.
- Experience auditing consumer/commercial lending or deposit operations.
- Exposure to lease accounting and IT general controls.
- Professional certification reimbursement

The wage range for this position is $130,000–$160,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
LocationThis is a hybrid role, with 4 days in the Salt Lake City, UT office required. (No relocation assistance offered.)
