As part of HVAC Heating, Patterson Kelley is a leading manufacturer of commercial boilers and direct and indirect water heaters. With an over 140 year history, we provide reliable, innovative comfort solutions for hospitals, schools, military bases, and stadiums.

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for our hydronic boilers. You will collaborate closely with engineering peers and cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure the successful development and launch of high-quality products.

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or product development, specifically in the design and development of boilers or similar heating systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo) for 3D modeling.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with product testing, validation, and compliance with regulatory standards, such as ASME, CSA, and ANSI
• Experience with boiler control systems, automation, and Internet of Things (IOT) technologies is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Work in an office environment, able to use a computer, provide oral and written communication.

Manufacturing Environment frequently requires use of foot and eye protection when in production areas.
