QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must meet the following criteria: (a) Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education; (b) obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or (c) met a rigorous standard of quality through a formal State assessment.
* Minimum experience as determined by the Board.
* Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff.
* Knowledge of diverse needs of children with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices.
* Passing score on the assessment for Crisis Management Training when required for student assignment.
* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
* Experience working with students with Autism preferred.
* Knowledge/Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.
Salary & Benefits:
* Per the established Salary Guide ranging from $30,550 to $37,650
* Full-time staff eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision benefits
