Primary Purpose
Responsible for safely delivering grocery and perishable products to stores and backhauls to distribution centers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer safely, adhering to performance standards.
• Assist in unloading deliveries at stores.
• Follow DOT pre-trip procedures (regulation 392.7).
• Maintain delivery and pickup paperwork and procedures.
• Keep all DOT paperwork and qualifications up to date.
• Verify load count and condition at all locations.
• Ensure equipment is in proper operating condition.
• Recommend process modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company standards for accuracy, safety, and productivity.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Minimum 1 year tractor trailer experience or certification from an approved driving school.
• No more than one moving violation in the past 3 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation logistics.
• Proper equipment use knowledge.

• Reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 70 lbs.

• Previous tractor trailer experience.
• Knowledge of all DOT regulations.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
