About the Role

As a Lovesac Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming in‑store experience, help customers design products that fit their style and space, and build relationships. You’ll use our selling techniques and product knowledge to guide customers from interest to purchase while maintaining visual merchandising standards and supporting daily store operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Actively engage with customers using our selling techniques.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Provide attentive service and build customer loyalty.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers.
  • Guide the customer from first interest to purchase, focusing on managing quotes, closing the sale, and maintaining relationships.
  • Conduct customer outreach using company tools and communication methods.
  • Quickly identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards.
  • Oversee store operations including opening & closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, promotions and ensure they are followed to company standards.
  • Utilize company tools, sales data and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks, and maintaining safety in the store.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High‑School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail or customer‑service experience.
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support, including demonstrating products, assisting customers and using internal CRM systems.
  • Support Lovesac’s omnichannel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in‑person at the home store, local stores, third‑party vendors, and remote customer‑service shifts.
  • Must be able to travel as required to local stores, third‑party vendors and occasional meetings.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions and handling sensitive data.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, non‑confrontational manner.
  • Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally, and assemble furniture while working on the selling floor.

Associates will be eligible to receive up to 26 hours of paid time off within our fiscal calendar year. They will be paid 1½ times their regular rate for any hours worked over 40 hours in a work week, and for any hours worked on company‑recognized holidays. Eligibility and terms for all benefits listed are as outlined in Lovesac’s policy and plan documents.
