Sign‑On Bonus

For a limited time Maine Health is offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and a $20,000 bonus for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience.

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part‑time RN position. Bonus is prorated for Part‑time hires; per‑diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 6 months have passed since separation from employment.
Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and self‑motivated Registered Nurse to join our Urology team. The role is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced, procedure‑intensive environment, enjoys autonomy, and is excited to contribute to a collaborative, team‑oriented setting. The RN will perform a wide variety of complex medical procedures while rotating through triage duties and playing a vital role in patient care and outcomes.

Description

The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient‑care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience:

    One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I – Ambulatory Care role.
