Overview
Staff Pharmacist – Home Infusion / Sterile Compounding
Location: Portland, ME
Compensation: $135K–$150K base + full benefits
Our client, a growing home infusion pharmacy in the Portland, Maine area, is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to support day-to-day clinical and operational activities in a fast-paced infusion environment. This is a full-time, patient-focused role with strong leadership support, a collaborative team, and real opportunity for growth. You’ll work closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge, compounding team, and intake staff to ensure safe, timely, and compliant delivery of infusion therapies in the home setting.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Verify infusion prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
- Oversee sterile compounding preparation and final checks (USP standards).
- Provide clinical support, dosing guidance, and therapy adjustments.
- Coordinate with nursing, providers, and intake teams.
- Support patient education and therapy adherence.
- Assist with inventory management and compliance documentation.
- Participate in limited on-call or rotating coverage, as needed.
- Active Maine Pharmacist license in good standing.
- 3+ years of pharmacy experience (infusion, sterile compounding, or hospital preferred).
- Familiarity with USP standards and aseptic technique.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting.
$135K–$150K base salary (flexible based on experience). Full medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). Supportive team culture with direct leadership access. Long-term growth potential within the organization.
