SummaryThe Associate Application Support Specialist role is accountable for supporting the organization's Epic Care Ambulatory and Practice Management application support needs in a healthcare setting. This is the first level of a three level career path. Support needs may include, but are not limited to, functionality and training to support clinical, fiscal, IS, and practice management operations within the Maine Health model system;
development and implementation of a quality assurance process to include practice outreach; and supporting end user needs by serving as the primary application support resource for Maine Medical Partners. Work is performed under minimal supervision. Participation as a member of our Tier I Help Desk support team is required in this position.
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Certifications:
Credentialed in 1-2 Epic focused modules or complete MH Credentialing Program within 6 months of hire.
0-2 years' healthcare experience.
