Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to support Clinical Operations and enterprise analytics initiatives. This role focuses on designing and building scalable, high-performance data models and transformations using DBT (including Data Coves) on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience working with both cloud and on‑premises data integration tools and a proven track record delivering in regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT (Data Coves)
• Build, optimize, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Integrate data from on‑premises and cloud source systems into the Snowflake platform
• Implement data quality checks, testing, and validation following DBT best practices
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning for large-scale datasets
• Follow development standards including Git-based version control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
• Work in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Ensure compliance with regulated data standards (GxP / clinical / healthcare data requirements)

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Data Coves
• Hands‑on experience with on‑premises ETL / data integration tools
• Strong experience in query optimization and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience working in healthcare, pharma, or other regulated environments
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Python, Airflow, Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
