Seton Hall University is seeking a candidate for the position of Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment, the Assistant Director will play a critical role in facilitating the day-to-day aspects of the graduate admissions process for the University. The Assistant Director will maintain collaborative relationships with all partners and support the overall strategic enrollment efforts of the University.

The role involves designing and implementing graduate admission strategies that are data-informed and results-oriented, supporting recruitment strategies across the University’s graduate programs, with emphasis on business and related disciplines. The incumbent may be required to work some evenings and/or weekends and will travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize recruitment strategy and campaigns through the use of Technolutions Slate CRM, leveraging technology to attract graduate students.
  • Conduct aggressive, highly-personalized outreach to prospective graduate students using various platforms to meet strategic enrollment goals.
  • Plan and assess student recruiting events, including information sessions on and off campus, and the Graduate Open House (in-person and virtual).
  • Participate in virtual and in-person local, regional, national graduate, and international recruitment conferences and fairs to build relationships with prospective candidates.
  • Assist faculty program directors to engage effectively with prospective students.
  • Execute a comprehensive, data-driven recruitment strategy in domestic and international markets.
  • Collaborate with the Office of International Programs on international student engagement, recruitment, and enrollment.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines; strong multitasking skills.
  • Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM strongly preferred; prior experience with CRM tools and Student Information Systems for recruitment and student information tracking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage a diverse population.
  • Proven ability to conceive and execute a robust communications campaign to prospective students.
  • Excellent public speaking skills and ability to present the University to prospective students and other audiences.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in graduate recruitment and enrollment management is strongly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Qualifications:

  • Ellucian Banner proficiency preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solving, analytical, innovative mindset; ability to work independently and in a team; ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience recruiting non-traditional, adult, graduate, international, and/or online students strongly preferred.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in graduate recruitment and enrollment management strongly desired.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
