Lecturer of Applied Behavior Analysis (Contract Faculty)
We invite applications for a Contract Faculty position in the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University, beginning in August 2026.
Job SummaryAs a contract faculty member, you will teach graduate‑level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis, contribute to curriculum development, provide student advisement, and support the mission of the College.
Responsibilities- Deliver a 12‑credit teaching load (four courses per semester) in behavior analysis topics such as Basic Principles of Behavior, Experimental Design, Ethics, OBM, Practicum, and Philosophy of Behaviorism.
- Engage in academic program development, curriculum review, and assessment.
- Participate in active service across the College and Department.
- Provide student advisement and thesis mentorship.
- Commit to the University’s Mission and uphold evidence‑based, ethical practice.
South Orange, NJ (residential campus).
Education & Experience- Earned doctoral degree in a field related to applied behavior analysis (or ABD with expected degree conferral before December 31 2026).
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA‑D) in good standing.
- Ability to teach graduate‑level ABA courses and mentor research theses.
- Prior or current practice as a board‑certified or licensed behavior analyst.
- Interest in teaching related courses (psychology, counseling, special education, school psychology).
- Prior higher‑education teaching experience with demonstrated effectiveness.
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements in behavior analysis.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA‑D).
$61,556 – $68,396
