Duties and Responsibilities:- Primarily working on promoting all events on robust social media platforms including Linked In, Instagram, and others as they become available.
- Attends and supports recruiting student initiatives, Open House, Scholarship Reception, Orientations, and all other recruiting events for Undergraduate and Graduate programs.
- Primarily creating unique opportunities to yield accepted students in A&S working with faculty key stakeholders.
- Assisting in Donor Relations and event planning.
- Primarily using social media, direct email, phone, among others to yield accepted students.
- Primarily working with department chairs to host events to yield new students.
- Secondarily coordinating Dean's Undergraduate Student Cabinet meetings twice a month.
- Thirdly answering all phone lines in Dean's Office in the absence of work study/secretarial staff.
- Thirdly assisting in the development of Annual Report.
- Other assignments as needed by the Associate Dean and Dean's Office.
A Bachelor's degree. Accepted to a SHU Graduate Program.
Excellent organization and communication skills; professional; high level of attention to detail; ability to interpret and analyze data; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Requires occasional evening and weekend hours.
Full‑time Graduate Assistant must possess an understanding of and willingness to support the Seton Hall University Catholic mission.
