Pay: £12.60 per hour.

Hours: 42h per week - 12 hour shifts - 4 On 4 OFF days & Nights.

Location: Normanton, UK.

Grade: Site Based.

Mobile Patrol Officer

As a Mobile Patrol Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported. Whether you’re patrolling key areas, managing gatehouse duties, or being the friendly face clients rely on, you’ll be an essential part of something bigger. Every shift is a new chance to learn, grow, and make a difference.

• Remain vigilant, report incidents promptly, and help prevent disruption.
• Deliver a range of mobile security services, including lock and unlock duties, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, and escort services.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the start and end of each shift, ensuring company vehicles and equipment are secure and well maintained.
• Follow agreed escalation procedures for incidents, break‑ins, health and safety concerns, and road traffic accidents (RTAs).
• Escalate incidents, risks, breakdowns, and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting all RTAs in line with company policy.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and helpful approach when engaging with clients, colleagues, and members of the public.

• A valid SIA licence.
• Manual driving licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
