Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Semi‑Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team.

Salary: £27,977.94 – £28,800.66 per annum

Hours:

36.5 hours – Early Shift; 06.00 – 14.30 Mon‑Thurs, 06.00 – 10.30 Friday

• Assembly and Riveting of sheet metal components in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand data cards and drawings for machine set up and operation.
• Set up machines with required settings and tooling as per procedures.
• Complete riveting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve required output levels.
• Skilled in the use of riveting equipment, measuring equipment and hand tools.
• Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, including Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, etc.
• Use of all measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
• Carry out in‑process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.

• Demonstrable experience working with sheet metal / assembling parts / components, using a range of manufacturing hand tools, equipment or machinery (riveting, countersinking, air tools, air grinders, drilling, trimming, etc.).
• Must have a keen eye for detail.
• Self‑driven and motivated.

• Early Friday finish.
• 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
• Participation in the Employee Bonus Scheme & Pension Scheme eligibility (4% employer).
