Customer Service Advisor – Alliance Healthcare

. This role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe through Alliance Healthcare. The position is based in South Normanton, Derbyshire and is a telephone‑based, fast‑paced customer service role.
- Handle all incoming customer contacts via phone, fax, or email; answer enquiries and ensure accurate, timely orders and invoices.
- Process customer order requests accurately and promptly; respond to enquiries using a knowledgeable, professional approach.
- Record all activity in the appropriate system with attention to detail.
- Assist other customer‑service teams and perform general administrative tasks as needed.
- Own performance goals, meet KPI and objective targets.
- Provide detailed information on prices and product specs, logging queries for future reference.
- Follow correct order processing procedures, capture data methodically, provide ETA based on supply chain.
- Treat customer issues, keep them updated until successful resolution.
- Handle objections professionally, striving to restore confidence and avoid escalation.
- Manage post, email, and fax queues and maintain filing systems.
- Adhere to HR policies, security procedures, Health & Safety policy, and statutory regulations.
- Affinity for talking to people and delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous customer‑service experience, though not required in a contact‑centre environment; strong interpersonal skills over the telephone are essential.
- Basic technology literacy and good keyboard skills; attention to detail for rapid, accurate data entry.
- Experience working to targets and SLAs.
