Overview

East Midlands/ contract / £13.69 - 15.69 per hour

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a day nursery with their search for a Breakfast Club/After School Club Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a warm and positive day nursery in Derby, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach. The setting looks after children in both indoor and outdoor areas and is split into age-appropriate sections to provide sensory enhancing activities.

The nursery ensures children are able to challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment.

You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across all rooms, supporting children from ages 6 weeks up to 4 years. In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right Nursery Practitioner.

• Support Breakfast Club and After School Club activities as part of the nursery team.
• Work across all rooms as required, supporting children from ages 6 weeks to 4 years.
• Assist with engaging, therapeutic activities and supervision in indoor and outdoor environments.

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Our Nursery Practitioners are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there are no admin charges deducted from your pay.
