What You Will Do
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available and properly allocated to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production progress daily, identifying potential bottlenecks or delays, and proactively implementing corrective actions to keep production on track.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure that all production meets or exceeds industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to balance production needs with cost efficiency.
  • Communicate schedule updates, production priorities, and potential issues to relevant departments.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, driving continuous process improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production status, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans for potential disruptions, such as equipment failures, supply chain delays, or unexpected demand spikes.
  • Support the introduction of new products or processes by coordinating trial runs, resource allocation, and production timelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
