The AI Product Engineer [Accounting] will architect and operationalize intelligent financial systems that transform accounting data into real-time strategic insight. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and product —ensuring that our internal financial infrastructure is not just accurate, but predictive, automated, and decision-enabling.

You will not only automate our manual accounting processes, but you will also apply AI to find actionable insight to improve our financials. It is going to be a very impactful role, as you will have insights into both financials and operations/technology.

This role is responsible for moving finance from reactive reporting to proactive intelligence.

Hybrid

• You will work with product and technology teams to automate our manual accounting processes.
• You will work with our technology teams to form a datalake for our financial products, establishing multiple integrations with our operation systems to sync data on a daily basis.
• Build data validations to cross-check data accuracy and timeliness.
• Automate financial reporting from our centralized data source.
• Leverage AI to find insight and drive actionable changes to our operations/technology.
• Architect and implement a centralized financial data infrastructure that unifies ERP, accounting, product, and operational systems into a single source of truth.
• Transition finance from manual, reactive reporting to automated, real-time financial intelligence.
• Design and deploy scalable data pipelines and integrations to ensure accurate, daily synchronization of financial and operational data.
• Establish rigorous data validation, governance, and audit controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial systems.
• Automate core accounting workflows, reconciliations, and reporting processes to materially reduce close cycle time and manual workload.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI frameworks that provide leadership with real-time visibility into revenue, cost drivers, margins, and operational performance.
• Build predictive financial models to forecast revenue, cash flow, case performance, and capital allocation needs.
• Implement AI-driven analytics and anomaly detection to proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
• Create a long-term roadmap for evolving Bridge Legal’s finance function into an AI-native, intelligence-driven operation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or comparable data tools.
• Demonstrated ability to build automation workflows or data pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with and experience using AI tools and AI Agents.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate finance problems into technical solutions.
