Description

As a Technical Alignment Manager (TAM), you will serve as one of the liaisons between our organization and its clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution of customer success strategies. You will focus on auditing and quality assurance of best practice implementations, maintaining up-to-date documentation, advising on IT solutions, and fostering long‑lasting client relationships. With a strong IT background and excellent interpersonal skills, you will independently deliver a "Gold Standard" customer service experience that aligns with values.

You will oversee the execution of client best practice reviews using auditing tools while maintaining and validating critical documentation in IT Glue. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with Account Managers (VCIOs) to align IT priorities, assist in road mapping, and deliver regular client updates, including Account Summary Reports (ASRs). Your responsibilities include monitoring client health metrics, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and ensuring adherence to IT best practices to maintain the "Gold Standard" of service.

Additionally, you may address client escalations, provide technical guidance, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing by developing training materials and instructional resources. Through consistent engagement and proactive management, you will foster strong client relationships and help them achieve their strategic IT goals.

The Blackline team will introduce clients to the TAM role and purpose to clients, while the TAM will introduce themselves offering additional role clarification as needed. The TAM should be seen as a "trusted advisor" to clients. The TAM may need to be the liaison between the client base and the team for various items. The TAM will conduct technical bi‑annually to annual audits (IT best practice reviews) and assess the client infrastructure using IT best practice questions developed in the MyITProcess application.

The TAM will need to utilize various software applications and technical background to assess each best practice accordingly. All clients will be assessed at least once throughout the year. The TAM will present IT best practice review results to designated clients with the assistance of other team members. The TAM will assist with IT best practice implementations as needed by us and the client.

Best practice implementations may need to be added to a client "road map" which the TAM and inside Sales team will be involved with. This may also include minimum budgetary efforts for the client base. TAMs will need to assist with Account Summary Reports (ASRs) or be involved in some aspect of this process to provide a "snap‑shot" of the client account which are sent over on a monthly cadence.

These reports would include ticket analysis, project updates, server checks, and more. TAMs will conduct collaboration meetings with clients and teams to assist with reviews and any other additional requests as needed. As well as any onboarding or off‑boarding of client base. TAMs may need to assist with small to medium infrastructure project coordination. The TAM will be responsible for client‑related documentation and maintaining that database (IT Glue), to make sure that proper standards are met and team members are updating all necessary information.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
