Job Title: BPM / Appian Developer
Position Type:
Full-time
- Design, develop, and deploy Appian applications including interfaces, process models, CDT design, records, and reports.
- Build workflow automation using Appian SAIL, APIs, smart services, and integrations.
- Implement complex business rules, decision tables, and Appian expressions.
- Work with business stakeholders to analyze current processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies.
- Create process maps, target-state workflows, and BPMN-compliant designs.
- Translate business requirements into Appian BPM solutions.
- Integrate Appian with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, AWS services, etc.).
- Design and manage Appian data structures (CDTs, record types, data fabric).
- Ensure secure data handling, caching strategies, and high-performance queries.
- Participate in architecture decisions for scalable Appian installations.
- Define standards for application components, naming conventions, and reusability.
- Assist in environment setup, upgrades, and version control.
- Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
- Review code for Appian best practices.
- Support UAT and defect resolution.
- Manage deployments using Appian Cloud moves, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tools.
- Support production releases and ensure smooth transitions.
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance for proactive fixes.
- Maintain technical design documents, support guides, process flows, and user manuals.
- Document integration contracts, data mapping, and architecture diagrams.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
- Implement enhancements based on user feedback.
- Partner with business owners, QA, architects, and product managers.
- Provide estimates, sprint planning inputs, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Communicate risks, roadblocks, and timelines effectively.
- Enforce Appian design best practices, naming standards, and reusable components.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) or BPM governance framework.

- Pay Range Minimum: $ 95,000 per year
- Pay Range Maximum: $ 155,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits:
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;
