Manager of Agile Coaches & Scrum Masters

This is a direct hire opportunity and hybrid to downtown Chicago.

We’re searching for an experienced Manager of Scrum Masters to lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of Scrum Masters as we execute on our 2026 strategic goals.

This leader will inherit a strong foundation — established delivery baselines, a documented operating model, and active peer learning — and will be responsible for scaling these into a sustained, outcomes-driven development system.

• Evolve our CoP from quarterly sessions to a structured monthly forum that drives mastery, accountability, and shared learning across the Scrum Master community.
• Own our coaching model, including coaching logs, quarterly maturity assessments, and targeted development plans that connect SM behaviors to delivery outcomes.
• Manage and enhance Jellyfish dashboards and produce recurring delivery impact briefs. Translate delivery signals into insights engineering and product leaders can act on.
• Directly manage a mixed team of FTE and contractor Scrum Masters. Develop talent, run effective 1:1s, and support career growth and coaching effectiveness

• Experience managing
  
  Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches
• Ability to turn delivery data into leadership-ready narratives
• Experience building or scaling a Community of Practice
• Strong skills in coaching through data, not just observation
• Confidence managing both FTEs and contractors
• Excellent cross-functional communication, especially with senior engineering and product partners
