Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Melt and Mold Supervisor - Direct Hire to join their team. As a Melt and Mold Supervisor - Direct Hire, you will be part of the foundry operations supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Melt and Mold Supervisor - Direct Hire
Location: South Milwaukee, WI
What's the Job?- Oversee and manage 2nd shift melt and molding operations to ensure production targets are met
- Maintain safety standards and enforce safety policies within the department
- Monitor department costs, quality control, and equipment efficiency
- Participate in planning, staffing, and resource allocation for the department
- Lead and supervise a team of skilled technicians, ensuring proper training and development
- Minimum of two (2) years melting experience in a foundry environment
- Induction melting experience preferred
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
